PR AND PUBLISHING

I focus on consumer insight and market research. 

I assist with research projects across Social Media or other sources as needed.  
I also assist with digital marketing campaigns.

I generate content for the LCF web pages, blog and social media: interviews, alumni profiles.

I liaise with key staff in LCF to create content and promote courses and projects as well as with students and alumni for content generation.

I ensure the promotion of LCF content to internal and external audiences.

Provide registration support and answer queries during LCC, LCF and CSM events and degree shows.

​

I worked backstage at the LCF Degree Show at Here East, providing support with the designers and models during the CatWalks. 

​

I checked attendees off guestlist and provide appropriate wristbands, manage seating of guests.

I monitored art installations.

I communicated effectively with general public academics and students.

For two months, I have proofread content, pitching to media and responding to journalist requests as well as crafting social media content.

I have successfully pitched to a Times journalist and got a cottage mentioned in the newspaper as well as the website. 

​

I managed unsolicited proposals, prepared AI sheets. I also drafted project description for discussions in internal meetings.

​

I dealt with sensitive information, processing payments for authors and reviewers, as well as sending contracts. 

​

Working for 3 different members of editorial staff, I managed and prioritised my workload.

I wrote press releases to potential reviewers, managed contact with reviewers and managing the review copy process.

​

During my time in the publicity department, I wrote a report about French media for the publicist in preparation for a visit to France and then prepared a detailed travel itinerary for Publicist’s media visit to Paris.

​

I was also in charge of researching a new list of potential reviewers for PUP's first graphic novel: Nadler's Heretics!

I researched articles on Wiley Library that could be promoted for special features.

​

I wrote pitches for promotional banners for Wiley Library and promotional tweets for Wiley journals.

​

I searching journal pages on Wiley Library to find out-of-date elements.

During the London Book Fair 2017, I greeted and guided visitors, as well as answered their queries.

I kept the stand organised during the day.

As I was posted on the Poetry stand, I looked for poetry enthusiasts to promote the Poetry Society and encourage visitors to subscribe. 

I wrote articles about popular culture, such as television series.

I used WordPress to write and edit articles and used the company’s software to analyse the user engagement.

I used my personal social media to advertise Konbini and my published articles.
